WickedWest were proud to recently help get Steve Redgraves historic Olympic bid off to a smooth start.

We were there (in spirit) for the finish too, and boy, what a finish!
In the high point of what has been Britain's best performance at a post-war Olympics, our coxless fours crew (Steve Redgrave, Matthew Pinsent, James Cracknell and Tim Foster) held off a strong Italian challenge to take gold in one of the most thrilling contests you'll see in any sport. This gave Steve a fifth gold in five consecutive games, a feat never before achieved in an endurance event, and unlikely to be equalled (although Matthew Pinsent has three now. Not that we're trying to put any pressure on...).

WickedWest were delighted to be able to contribute towards this incredible achievement, by transporting the teams boat on the first leg of its journey down under (free of charge of course, as is our policy for anyone going for a fifth Olympic gold!)
The operation went smoothly, as our customers have come to expect of us, and we would like to congratulate Steve and the crew for a performance that we are going to remember for a long time.

Congratulations guys... Job Done!
